Who are we?
La Casa de la Amistad is an OBADES program that provides comprehensive assistance to children and adolescents with family members deprived of liberty in the prisons of San Sebastián (Men and Women), San Antonio and El Abra. Its focus is on comprehensive and humane accompaniment.

How was the organization born?
Founded in 1994 by the missionary Dennis Shermann, it began serving 14 children in the San Sebastian Women’s Prison. Since then, it has benefited more than 2,500 people and currently welcomes more than 150 children and adolescents per year.
